Beyond Crossword

Beyond Crossword is a vibrant twist on the traditional crossword puzzle — a game that celebrates language, diversity, and discovery. Instead of written clues, each letter of every word is represented by a unique image. Your challenge? Decode the image, figure out the letter it represents, and solve the word. With each puzzle themed around LGBTQ+ terms and experiences, Beyond Crossword combines visual logic, cultural learning, and meaningful representation.

How It Works

• Each word in the crossword is broken down into images — one image per letter.
• Players must guess the letters from the images to form LGBTQ+-themed words.
• The images, and therefore the letters, are initially jumbled. Once you have guessed all the letters, arrange them appropriately to figure out the word!
• Words are interconnected like a classic crossword grid.
• When you've guessed the correct letter, there will be an indicator to signify this.

Beyond Crossword is designed with a progressive challenge system across 3 handcrafted levels, centered around three themes: Obstacles, Exploration, and Growth. Each level escalates in difficulty, with each level's theme representing experiences shared by the LGBTQ+ community!
